Don Pablo Lorenzo Street, Zamboanga City- The Zamboanga City Police Office headed by PCOL ALEXANDER A LORENZO, City Director joined the nationwide simultaneous launching of the BIDA Program on Saturday, November 26, 2022 held at Paseo del Mar Zamboanga City.
The BIDA program stands for Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan.
The BIDA Program is an intensified and more holistic campaign against illegal drugs which aimed to reduce drug demand in the communities and underscores the PNP, PDEA, NBI we & other concerned agencies of government’s continued intensified effort in the war against drugs within the framework of the law, with respect for human rights,and complemented by rehabilitation and socioeconomic development.
In attendance were the PNP personnel from different units, DILG, Bureau of Fire Protection, BJMP, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Air Force Task Force Zamboanga, Philippine Army, Barangay Officials, and other concerned sectors of the society.
