The city’s barangays positively responded to the government’s call for all sectors to participate in the Kalinisan Program, a collaborative initiative for a cleaner and safer community.
Barangay Information Officers of Sta. Maria, Lapakan, Salaan, Mercedes, Guisao, Recodo, Tulungatung, Mangusu and Tictapul sent in photos of the clean – up drives conducted in their respective barangays Saturday, January 6.
The Kalinisan Program is pursuant to DILG MC No. 2024-001 and is intended to establish a clean and secure environment by fostering collaboration with LGUs and encouraging community participation, highlighting the essence of “Bayanihan.”
Mayor John Dalipe thanked all the participating barangays but emphasized that cleanliness should be collaborative and continuous effort.
