The City Government’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) is unrelenting, as Mayor John Dalipe together with Vice Mayor Pinpin Pareja led the distribution of P3, 000 cash assistance to 563 indigent persons with disabilities under CSWDO Field Office 4 at the Talon-Talon covered court, Wednesday, June 28.
The beneficiaries Wednesday composed the second batch of indigent PWDs coming from the barangays of Arena Blanco, Boalan, Divisoria, Guiwan, Lumayang, Lumbangan, Lunzuran, Mampang, Putik, Talon-Talon, Tigtabon, Tetuan and Tugbungan.
“El maga PWD bien serca gayot na corazon di Mayor Dalipe y Vice Mayor Pinpin, igual con el maga senior citizens,” Dalipe emphasized in his message as he assured continuous support to all those in need.
Vice Mayor Pareja said the Sangguniang Panlungsod has passed several ordinances, granting new rounds of benefits to PWDs.
Assisting the mayor during the distribution were Councilor Jerome Santos, Executive Assistants JR Natividad and Edna Sumergido, CSWDO chief Ma. Socorro Rojas and officials of barangays concerned, among others.
Last Tuesday, June 27, the mayor also led the distribution of AICS to the first batch of indigent PWDs composed of over 400 individuals at the KCC Mall im Gov. Camins.
The grant of cash assistance is facilitated by the CSWDO and City Treasurer’s Office.
