Over a week after the Fiesta Pilar celebration last October 12, post fiesta activities continue, providing fun and entertainment to Zamboangueños.
This, as the 1st ZC Push Bike Race competition and the ZC Moto Circuit Race, organized by private groups, were held at Paseo del Mar Saturday, October 19.
The Push Bike racing was the first of its kind to be held in the city. It is a wholesome competition for kids where participants mount their no-pedal two-wheelers and use their feet to navigate a winding track whose length depends on age categories.
On the other hand, the Moto Circuit race is motorcycle racing or the recreational competitive use of motorcycles, a sport practiced by both professionals and amateurs.
Mayor John Dalipe together with Vice Mayor Josephine Pareja and some members of the City Council graced the twin events and congratulated the winners as well as thanked all contestants for their participation.
