PNP personnel of Aurora Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by Police Lieutenant Mark C. Adrias together with Zamboanga Del Sur Police Intelligence Unit (PIU), 2nd Mobile Company of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 (RMFB9) and Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted joint law enforcement operation against wanted person at Purok Masagana, Brgy. Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 AM of November 30, 2020.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Rayn Mojado Perales, male, 28 years old, LGU driver and a resident of Purok Malipayon, Brgy. Sapa Loboc, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.
This is by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Murder, docketed under Criminal Case No. 20-10,1799, issued by Hon. Analyn Fr. Costanilla, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur, dated November 26, 2020, with no recommended bail bond.
During the arrest, PNP personnel were able to confiscate from his possession and control were one-unit caliber .45 pistol bearing serial no. IB 881888 bear custom, one alloy magazine, seven pieces ammunition, one holder and one sling bag color brown.
Arrested accused is now under the temporary custody of Aurora MPS, while the case for violation of R.A 10591 (illegal possession of firearm) is now being prepared for filing in court.(PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
