On October 1, 2020 at about 8:10AM in Purok 6, Brgy. Amoslog, Placer, Surigao del Norte a joint operation from personnel of PIU, SDN PPO (led unit) led by PCPT JOVIERICK S DECAPIA, Assistant Chief PIU, 2nd SDN PMFC, 30IB, RIU 13 and Placer MPS which resulted in the arrest of Top 1 most wanted person involved in 8 Focus Crimes (Provincial Level) and top 2 PRO13 Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) Common Data Base identified as Jaime Calamba Simene, 64 years old, married, driver, NAMASUN Organizer and Recruiter and a resident of aforesaid place by virtue of Warrants of Arrest dated August 28, 2020 issued by Acting Presiding Judge Hon. CATALINA SHINETA M. TARE-PALACIO, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 32, San Jose, Dinagat Islands.
The arrested person is wanted for Multiple Murder under criminal case number 15030 with no bail bond recommended and Multiple Attempted Murder under Criminal Case number 15031 with recommended bail bond of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (₱ 120,000.00).
Said accused was identified as one of the perpetrators in an encountered between 30IB Phil. Army and SYP 16C, GF16, NEMRC last March 17, 2020 in Sitio, Capandan, Brgy. Urbiztundo, Claver, Surigao del Norte that resulted to three (3) KIA and three (3) WIA all members of 30IB PA.
Accused is now in the custody of Placer Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Despite that the PNP is busy in addressing the Covid19 Pandemic we are still relentless in keeping Wanted Persons behind bars and other law violators, he added.
