The Municipality of Claver received an additional 2,000 Antigen Kits on February 2, 2021 from Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation (THPAL) through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) program. This is to support the municipality’s serious continuing effort to contain COVID-19.
The Municipality of Claver through the Municipal Health Office gives free Antigen test to all Clavernons who are incoming, referred for medical reasons and with valid reasons in coordination and proper evaluation from Municipal Health Officer.
The Antigen test kits for COVID-19 are used to detect antigens or viral proteins in the body which cause an immune response and imply the presence of viral infection. The test may be used in grouping patients together in hospitals where it is important to enforce infection prevention and control measures and minimize disease transmission.
Since the onset of COVID-19 THPAL is working closely with the municipality by providing goods, temporary quarantine and isolation facilities, medical workers, and medical equipment. (ACEstampa | RPN DXKS)
