Elements of Surigao City Drug Enforcement Unit led by PLT BASSEL MONTEROSO under the supervision of PLTCOL CHRISTIAN L RAFOLS II, Chief of Police, Regional Maritime Group 13 led by PLT ROBERT M SORILLA and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit led by PMAJ ELMAR R CLARET conducted buy bust operation resulted in the arrest of two newly identified drug suspects in Diez St., Barangay Taft, Surigao City yesterday February 5, 2021.
POLICE LIEUTENANT COLONEL CHRISTIAN L RAFOLS II, identified the suspects as Jovie L. Barola, 30 yrs old and Roche O. Adobas, 34 yrs old.
Authorities confiscated eight plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 0.3 grams with a street price value of P 4,000.00, one plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing 0.1 gram with a street price value of P 1,000.00, one gray sling bag, one genuine 1,000 peso bill as marked money, one black oppo smart phone and cash money amounting to four hundred pesos in different denominations.
PNP Crime Laboratory, Surigao City conducted screening test on the urine sample of both suspects and gave a POSITIVE result for the presence of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride also known as Shabu.
Suspects are now under the custody of this station and the case was already filed thru inquest proceedings for Violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002 at the City Prosecutors. (SCPS | RPN DXKS)
