THPAL leads turnover of ₱ 1.9-M worth new garbage truck to BLGU of Taganito in Claver
Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation officially turned-over 1 Unit T-King Mini Dump Truck funded under the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) to the Barangay Local Government of Taganito in Claver, Surigao del Norte, on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
The ceremony was attended by the Barangay Council Members of Taganito headed by Barangay Captain Hon. Ruben D. Parpan, as they officially received the equipment to be utilized in the implementation of its Solid Waste Management Program (SWMP) undertakings.
THPAL aims to encourage its community to practice proper waste segregation from the source and make use of the garbage truck to maintain a clean environment. The company believes that through proper waste segregation, the community will maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone.
Barangay Taganito is one of the host barangays of THPAL situated in the municipality that also adheres in intensifying the campaign on Republic Act 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.
