The DTI-Surigao del Norte in partnership with the Surigao Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc.
conducted the first KAPIHAN PARA SA KARAJAWAN this morning January 22, 2021 at the office of DTI-Surigao del Norte with a round-table session among primary business sector stakeholders in Surigao. The discussion were represented by significant stakeholders from BIR (RDO Bernadette Honculada), BPLO ( Mr. Ernesto Kang),Prov’l. Agriculture (Ms. Ruby Ann Lagahit and staff), PENRO (Joselina Casanova), KBP (Jojo Ferol-representative of Ms. Tiu), PIA (Ms. Susil Ragas), Sangguniang Panlalawigan -Committee on Trade and Industry (BM Melva Garcia, DTI (PD Elmer Natad) and SCCI (Mr. Willie Gan).
The Kapihan Para sa Karajawan was launched last December 12, 2020 during the Karajawan sa Surigao Provincial Trade Expo Christmas Edition at Gaisano Capital Surigao. The main objective of this project is to allow our stakeholder representatives to discuss progress and development of the province and the venue of discussion of issues and concerns related to business. There will be a regular bi-monthly meeting of the Kapihan to have more topics of discussion and resolution of issues will be addressed specifically to concern agencies.
