EYES HERE: The Department of Social Welfare and Development, together with the Local Government Unit of Dapa, broke ground for the establishment of the Dapa Livelihood Center in Dapa, Surigao del Norte, on August 23, 2021.
The Dapa Livelihood Center is a 1-storey infrastructure project subsidized by the DSWD Field Office Caraga’s Sustainable Livelihood Program which will house four SLP associations and allow the program participants to display their products and goods.
A signing of the memorandum of agreement between the DSWD-SLP and the LGU Dapa will also take place on September 8, 2021 in light of this project.
The groundbreaking ceremony was led by Municipal Mayor Elizabeth Matugas and SLP Technical Staff Reynard Roi Cabusao. They were joined by Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Nancybelle Trazares, Sangguniang Bayan Members, SLP associations members, and DSWD field staff.
