SurNte Police Welcome Fresh Leadership: New Commanders Assume Duties in Ceremonial Turnover

Through a ceremony emphasizing dedication and change, the newly appointed Force Commanders of the 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and the Chief of Police for General Luna officially commenced their duties amidst a ceremonial turnover held at the Conference Room of SDNPPO on Borromeo Street, Surigao City, today.

Provincial Director, Police Colonel Laudemer M Laude, presided over the ceremony, highlighting the significance of the new appointments and the seamless transition of command responsibility.

The ceremony featured the symbolic handover of command insignia to the newly appointed leaders.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Jess P. Paguirrigan embraced his role as Force Commander of the 1st PMFC, effective June 15, 2024, as per Special Orders Number SDN-DES-2024-06-063.

Simultaneously, Police Major Ferdinand P. Tavares assumed duties as Acting Force Commander of the 2nd PMFC under the same orders.

Further reinforcing the new leadership, Police Major Romel D. Magbanua took charge as Chief of Police for General Luna Municipal Police Station, effective June 15, 2024, by Special Orders Number SDN-DES-2024-06-063.

“As we witness this new chapter with the appointment of our Chief of Police and Force Commanders, we reinforce our pledge to serve the Surigaonons with unwavering dedication. Their roles are pivotal in our mission to maintain peace and security across our communities. I am confident in their ability to lead with integrity and compassion,” PD Laude stated.
