The City government through the Surigao City Environment & Natural Resources Office headed by Mr. Raul Tarpin along with Hon. Noel Christian “Toti” Catre Jr., Committee Chairperson on SP Committee on Environment and Natural Resources and PNP Personnel in partnership with DENR PENRO Surigao del Norte initiated installation of “NO BUILD ZONE” signages in Brgys. San Juan, Sabang and Lipata.
This is to enforce Presidential Decree No. 1067 (Water Code of the Philippines) and issued DAO 2021-07 20 establishing legal easements. Fines will be imposed to violators of the mentioned law and issuance.
