A total of 338 beneficiaries from Marihatag, San Miguel, Tago, Cortes, Lanuza, Carmen, and Carrascal, Surigao del Sur received the Livelihood Assistance Grant from the DSWD Field Office Caraga, recently.
The said livelihood assistance, which has been distributed through DSWD’s Sustainable Livelihood Program, serves as the beneficiaries’ seed capital fund in establishing the livelihood of their choice. Each recipient received an amount of either PHP 10,000 or PHP 15,000 depending on the livelihood project they proposed.

In coordination with the local government units, the DSWD-SLP will conduct monitoring activities to ensure that the program participants are provided with technical assistance and guided well in managing their small livelihoods.
