In a significant step towards boosting economic growth, Surigao del Norte Provincial Government, Surigao City Government, and SGV (Sycip, Gorres & Velayo) have formed a groundbreaking partnership.
This collaboration, sealed with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), marks a key milestone for the province’s advancement.
Gov. Lyndon Barbers and SGV & Co. Chairman and Country Managing Partner Wilson Tan signed the MOA in Metro Manila on August 2, 2023.
The event was attended by respected witnesses, including CONG. ACE Barbers, Mayor Paul Dumlao II, and SGV & Co. Strategy and Transactions Partner Stephanie Tan-Hamed.
The primary goal of this partnership is to create a publication titled ‘Doing Business in Surigao del Norte.’ This publication aims to highlight the province’s extensive investment potential. Both parties are dedicated to uncovering fresh economic prospects for the people of Surigao del Norte.
Through this partnership, Surigao City, as the sole component city of Surigao del Norte, is set to experience transformative growth. The collaboration with SGV, a leading multidisciplinary professional services firm in the Philippines, known for its broad expertise, enhances the possibilities for a thriving future.
The collective vision of the Surigao del Norte Provincial Government, Surigao City Government, and SGV is set to create a future where innovation, investment, and opportunity converge.
