Surigao City Police: Leading the Way-Exceptional UPER Performance in March and April 2024

Achieving ratings of 97.89% and 95.70% for March and April 2024, respectively, Surigao City Police Station, headed by Police Lieutenant Colonel Diomedes B. Cuadra Jr., Chief of Police, surpassed 20 other police units in Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office in the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER).

The Surigao City Police Station retained its top-ranking status, as reported by the Provincial Program and Plans Unit (PPPU), while the Dapa Municipal Police Station trailed second place, achieving ratings of 93.40% and 92.65% in March and April.

Police Colonel Laudemer M. Laude, Provincial Director, disclosed that the Bacuag Municipal Police Station clinched the 3rd position with a rating of 92.63% in March, while in April; the Claver Municipal Police Station attained the 3rd spot with a rating of 92.25%.

The Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) system is a standardized tool used by the PNP to assess the performance of its offices and units. It combines operational accomplishments (60%) and administrative achievements (40%) to determine each police unit’s rating.
