CSUPT. FRED L. TRAJERAS JR., Regional Director formally opens the BFP Recruit Orientation Program (ROP) of the ninety-six (96) newly absorbed Fire Officer 1 (FO1) of this region with the Reception Rites at the Special Rescue Force, 5th Battalion, Alpha Company, San Francisco, Surigao del Norte.
The Reception Rites is a time-honored tradition for welcoming the chosen few who heeded the call. Said recruits will undergo the 45-day training inside the Camp SARU and will soon be having their On-The-Job training in the different units.
The program was also attended by the DRDA, SSUPT PETER SEAN ANTHONY T ATUP, Regional Chief of Staff, SUPT REY G BAUTISTA and INSP ABEL A DUBDUBAN, Acting City Fire Marshal of Surigao and the Chief, Tactical Officer together with SFO3 Cristiel Ian T Flores, OIC, SRF/Course Director.
