Surigao: 200 Clavernons receive Livelihood Assistance Grant

Today, Mayor Georgia Gokiangkee grace the turnover and release of Livelihood Assistance Grant (LAG) to 200 recipients. The LAG payout is facilitated by the DSWD Caraga represented by Mr. Renante Abendanio, SLP Regional Coordinator in coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office (MSWD) conducted at Ladgaron gymnasium, this municipality.

The LAG project is made possible through the persistent efforts of Vice Governor Eddie “GEED” D. Gokiangkee through the Office of the President – Senator Christopher Lawrence “BONG” T. Go, to help in the recovery of small enterprises in the municipality affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The good senator through his representative also facilitated the distribution of vitamins, face mask, raffle and of course some snacks.

DSWD’s Sustainable Livelihood Program – Livelihood Assistance Grant (SLP-LAG) is one of the department’s response to COVID -19 to help in the recovery. Each recipient received P 15K to augment for their livelihoods.

LGU Claver applauded and expressed its gratitude to all government partners in making this event a success all for the better of Claver.
