Cagayan de Oro – Kagay-anon e-gamers received some helpful tips and training Thursday afternoon through the first ever Barangay E-Sports Clinic conducted by the SMART E-Sports Team.
The team flew into Cagayan de Oro City from Manila to train the Kagay-anon e-gamers at the barangay hall in Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City.
Participants will be trained on strategies and playing tactics on games like Mobile Legends, Valorant and Tekken 8 to prepare for upcoming qualifier matches leading to the finals of the e-game tournament for Higalaay Festival 2024, said City Tourism Council member Rhea Uy.
Barangay Carmen chairman Raineir Joaquin “Kikang” Uy thanked Smart Communications Inc. for their assistance, saying it will promote their barangay as a trailblazer in E-Sports competitions.
