The province records its 26th case of confirmed Positive COVID-19 as of Aug. 1, 2020 ; a 77 year old male from Siay town.
He was first admitted in a public hospital here in the province last Jul. 29 due to hypertension; was transferred in a private hospital in Ipil , same day and was later referred to Zamboanga Peninsula Hospital in Zamboanga City where the patient remains admitted up to this time.
The patient was swab tested on Jul. 30 and result came out Aug.1, 2020 as Positive for the coronavirus disease.
The province records a total of 26 Confirmed cases as of Aug.1, 2020, of which 20 have already recovered; 5 are active cases, while 1 is in Manila.
