Shooting incident transpired at Purok Nabintad, Brgy. Bulanit, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur at 4:40 PM of September 28, 2020. The victim was identified as Saripudin Tantong Tabina, 31 years old, male, married, driver by occupation, and a resident of Purok Nabintad, Brgy. Bulanit, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
He was shot by suspect identified as Afdal Tinggalong, male, married, farmer, and a resident of Purok Nabintad, Brgy. Bulanit, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the victim and suspect were engaged in a heated argument at the aforementioned place of incident, when suddenly the suspect pulled out undetermined caliber of firearm from his belt bag and shot the victim hitting his right leg and thereafter, suspect immediately fled after the incident.
Victim was brought to Manupac Hospital, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur for medical treatment. The motive of the incident is personal grudge.
PNP personnel of Labangan Municipal Police Station led by PMAJ. Olympus Wee Bas are still conducting manhunt operation for the possible arrest of the suspect.
