Vista Land and Lifescapes Inc., the property development arm of the Villar Group, on Monday said uptake of its affordable brand Lessandra continued to trend upward as sales recorded an annualized growth rate of 28 percent as of May.

The company said the brand’s sales in May expanded by 8 percent month-on-month and by 43 percent year-on-year. Amid the ongoing pandemic, Lessandra is strengthening its digital efforts and is expanding its projects, the company said.

“You always reap the fruits of your labor. The positive growth we have is due to our unceasing efforts to provide quality and affordable homes to homebuyers, excellent service, and by keeping up with the trends and technology, particularly in the digital arena,” Eduardo T. Aguilar, Lessandra’s division head, said.

Earlier this year, Vista Land said Start Up Pill—the London-based site known for listing the most innovative and exceptional start-up brands—named Lessandra as “one of the best residential start-ups globally.” “We continue to embrace change and of service to our clients 24/7. From the virtual home tours to the reservation and payment, all can be done through our website, making it much easier to purchase your dream home. Homebuyers can also contact us anytime on our website and get a real-time response. On top of that, we have official social media pages, so clients have the flexibility to choose which platform they are more comfortable with to reach out to us,” Aguilar said.

Previously a house series under Camella Homes, Lessandra was launched as a brand of its own in 2019. The company has since penetrated the market and has been making its mark in the industry by offering a holistic and consumer-centric home environment, from affordable house and lots to family-friendly amenities and community security features.

The company expressed confidence that Lessandra will generate positive results in 2021 as housing remains a necessity.

The company has recently announced that it will build additional communities in Luzon and Mindanao as part of its expansion this year. Currently, Lessandra is present in more than 40 communities nationwide.

Aside from the horizontal project expansions, the company said it will soon enter the vertical real estate market with their first condominium offering, which will be located just outside Metro Manila.
