Davao del Norte – After series of follow-up and negotiations undertaken by Mayor Ernesto Evangelista and Municipal Administrator Atty. Elisa Evangelista-Lapina, the concrete road project from Barangay La Libertad to Barangay San Miguel with bridge reconstruction has already started.
The road project is set to be completed on June 30, 2021 (275 calendar days). This road infrastructure project is among the projects of the Evangelista administration under its “#Aksyon Sa Proyekto” Program which aims to sustain and accelerate Santo Tomas town’s growth by providing essential infrastructure projects responsive to the needs of the Tomasino communities and its people.
Meanwhile, Atty Elisa Evangelista-Lapina has placed the project under strict monitoring to ensure that the project contractor —Monolithic Construction and Concrete Products, Inc.— will be able to finish the project based on the calendared deadline.
Lapina wants the project is compliant to the standards and specifications of the road projects to ensure that it is reliable, durable, and safe so as not to waste the people’s money.
