Police personnel of Pagadian City Police Station together with CIDG9 and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at City Hall Complex, Brgy. Gatas, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 11:30 AM of December 14, 2020. This resulted in the arrest of Ryam May Ortega Roxas, 17 years old, male, single, and a resident of Purok Sweet Rose, Brgy. Bomba, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.
He was arrested by Virtue of Arrest Warrant for the Crime of Rape under Article 266-a(1) in relation to Article 266-b of the Revised Penal Code, docketed under Criminal Case No. 14875-2k20 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City dated September 16, 2020, with no bail recommended.
He is now temporarily detained at Pagadian City Police Station custodial facility while waiting for commitment order from the court. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
