PROCOR Welcomes 157 New Peace Warriors

Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – After three months of rigid training, 157 Cordillera cops composed of 126 males and 31 females graduated after successfully completing the required training competencies of the Basic Internal Security Operation Course (BISOC) in a simple ceremony held on December 18, at Philex Mines, Itogon, Benguet.

The BISOC is a PNP specialized training that aims to equip and train police personnel on the different tactics and strategies in combat operations, develop maneuver skills and instill combat standard operating procedures during anti-insurgency operations, anti-criminality and anti-terrorism. It prepares them to be highly effective and efficient in their police functions even under extreme pressure while adhering to the PNP Human-Rights Based Policing (HRBP).

For this batch which started on September 4, two classes namely MAHIKAD 2020-02 composed of 79 students and KASUPANG 2020-03 (78), successfully completed the course.

The Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PBGEN Lawrence B Coop in his speech, commended the new graduates for their perseverance in surpassing the rigidity of training. He added that with this training, they can now return to their respective unit assignments equipped with the skills and knowledge they acquired and that they were tested and proven to be physically and mentally resilient to carry on their inherent task as protectors of peace and order in the Cordilleras.
