Stabbing Incident
A stabbing incident transpired at Laminosa Drive, Asinan, Brgy Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at about 9:00 AM of September 4, 2021. Victim was identified as Loyki Baroto y Eiyah, 39 years old, male, married resident of the said place while suspect was identified as Aristotle Isniril a.k.a “Kambal” 37 years old, male, single, resident of same address. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, victim was feeding his fighting cock just outside their residence. Then the suspect who happened to be their neighbor, sneaked out and without any words or provocation, stabbed the victim with a knife twice on the right portions of his chest and one on his back. Suspect then fled to an unknown direction after the commission of crime while the victim was brought by his relatives to Zamboanga City Medical Center. PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 is conducting follow-up operation and further investigation regarding the said incident.
Men Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Kasanyangan
PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Drug Enforcement Unit together with Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at about 3:00 PM of September 4, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Carmela Hassan y Mohammad a.k.a. “Carmela”, 20 years old, female, separated, high school level, unemployed and Allan Marsiya y Bintali, 21 years old, male, with no formal education, unemployed, both residents of Phase 1, Asinan, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City. Confiscated from their possession were one (1) tube mask, four (4) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with a standard drug price of Php 13,600.00 weighing 2 grams and three (3) bills of Php 100.00 as marked money. They are now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Tugbungan
Intel operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 conducted operation against wanted person at Narra Drive, Barangay Tugbungan, Zamboanga City at 8:40 PM of September 4, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Bonnel Ocampo y Malupay, 25 years old, male, married of Narra Drive, Barangay Tugbungan, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Frustrated Murder under RPC art. 248 with criminal case no. 48747 issued by Hon. Judge Norma Ong Usin- Usman of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 34 dated August 20, 2021 with bail bond recommended of two hundred thousand pesos (Php 200.000). He is now under the custody of the said police station prior turn over to the concerned court.
