₱6,800,000.00 Worth of Alleged Illegal Drugs Seized in Arena Blanco
PNP personnel of City Drug Enforcement Unit together with ZCPS4 conducted anti-illegal drugs at Purok 5, Barangay Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City at 9:10 AM of September 23, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Elmer Esmiraji y Dalhadi a.k.a. “Totoh”, 24 years old, male, married, jobless, elementary level, and a resident of Talipao, Jolo Sulu. Recovered during the operation were one (1) pack of suspected Shabu with a standard drug price of ₱ 6, 800, 000.00 weighing more or less 1 kilogram, one (1) paper bag (stripe), one (1) plastic pack with markings “Guanyinwang”, black tape and transparent packing tape used as wrapper and ₱ 1.1M as boodle money with one (1) bill of ₱ 1, 000.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of ZCPS4 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All Recovered sachets of suspected Shabu will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Men Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Talusan
PNP personnel of Talusan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with personnel of 1st Zamboanga Sibugay 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted law enforcement operation against illegal drugs thru buy-bust at Purok 1, Barangay Samonte, Talusan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 4:30 PM of September 23, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Pedrito Guanzon Juntilla Jr., 28 years old, single, male, high school graduate, jobless and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Samonte, Talusan, Zamboanga Sibugay and Jumdaya Ansa, 36 years old, separated, female, high school level, jobless and a resident of Barangay Tuburan, Talusan, Zamboanga Sibugay. Recovered and confiscated from their possession were; one (1) small cut drinking straw (buy bust item) and two (2) pieces small cut drinking straw (possession) all containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu with an estimated total weight of 0.245 grams and standard drug price of ₱ 1,666.00, one (1) piece ₱ 500.00 bill (marked money) and ₱ 344.00 in different denomination. Arrested persons and confiscated items were brought to Talusan MPS for proper disposition.
Man Dead in Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident in Labangan
A vehicular accident transpired at about 11:00 AM of September 23, 2021 at Purok 2, Barangay Sinusayan, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay involving a red/white Motoposh HK150, driven by a 17 year old male and a yellow bulldozer caterpillar, driven by Richrad Dela Cerna Noquiao, 53 years old, male, married, driver and a resident of Purok Pag-Asa, Barangay Lantian, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur. Initial investigation disclosed that prior to the incident, the said bulldozer was working along the road but when the driver stirred backwards, he accidentally ran-over the incoming motorcycle who was trailing behind him. As a result, the body of driver of the motorcycle was crushed and was declared dead on the arrival by the attending physician of Malangas MHO. suspect was immediately arrested and was brought to Alicia Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Kasanyangan
SDET personnel of ZCPS8 together with CDEU conducted buy-bust operation on illegal drugs at Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at 8:25 PM of September 23, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jummong Amman y Intan a.k.a “Bunsan”, 35 years old, male, single, elementary level, jobless, resident of Phase 1, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were four (4) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with a standard drug price of ₱ 15,000.00 weighing 2.21 grams, two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money and three (3) pieces ₱ 1,000.00 as boodle money. He is now under the custody of ZCPS8 in preparation for filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Campo Islam
PNP personnel of ZCPS7 SDET conducted buy-bust operation on illegal drugs at Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City at 1:50 AM of September 24, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Melvin Ibno y Bakil a.k.a. “Dadang”, 21 years old, male, married, pedicab driver, elementary graduate, of Barangay Campo Islam, Zamboanga City. Confiscated from his possession were nine (9) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with a standard drug price of ₱ 14,960.00 weighing 2.2 grams, one (1) brown coin purse color brown and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. He is now under the custody of ZCPS7 in preparation for filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Dapitan
PNP personnel of CDET Dapitan City Police Station conducted drug buy bust operation at Bagting, Dapitan City at 6:30AM of September 23, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Roberto Antipala Abila, 41 years, married and a resident of Mauswagon, Cawa-Cawa, Dapitan City. Confiscated during the operation were of 1 piece medium transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu as buy bust evidence,1 piece ₱ 1,000.00 bill as buy bust money. Estimated street value is ₱ 4,080.00 with estimated weight of 0.6 grams. Suspect is now under custody of Dapitan City Police Station for filling of appropriate charges.
Pedestrian Dead in Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident in Sindangan
A vehicular traffic accident transpired along the National Highway of Barangay Bago, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte at 3:30 PM of September 23, 2021 involving a Nissan Urvan Passenger Van driven by Lowill Carbonel Suerte, 28 years old, male, married, and a resident of Barangay Compra, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte and 13 year old male pedestrian. Initial investigation disclosed prior to the incident, the Nissan Urvan Passenger Van was travelling from Dipolog City heading towards Municipality of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, upon reaching the place of incident, the vehicle accidentally bumped/hit the pedestrian. The Pedestrian was immediately brought to Sindangan District Hospital for medication but it was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician Dra. Karyl Anne D. Mejorada. The vehicle incurred damages. The driver of Nissan Urvan Passenger Van is now under the custody of Sindangan Municipal Police station for proper disposition.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Dipolog City
PNP personnel of Dipolog CPS (CDET) together with TSC, RMFB9 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Minaog, Dipolog City at 11:01 PM of September 23, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Junrey Dagooc Baclayo, Male, 34 years old, married and a resident of Barangay Calican, Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte. Confiscated during the operation are one 1 piece small size plastic sachet containing white crystalline granules believed to be Shabu as buy bust evidence, 4 small size plastic transparent sachets containing white crystalline granules, ₱ 500.00 bill as buy-bust money, and other paraphernalia. Estimated weight of seized items is 6 grams with an estimated value of ₱ 40,800.00. Arrested suspect is currently under the custody of Dipolog City Police Station for proper disposition.
