Top 6 Most Wanted Person of Kabasalan, Arrested in Davao City
Police personnel of Kabasalan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Field Unit, San Pedro Police Station 2 – Davao City, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company and Zamboanga del Sur Maritime Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 33, Agro Compound, Brgy. Bucana, Davao City at about 12:00AM of March 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Rodrigo Jasmin Albos III aka Adi, 28 years old, male, married, a native of Brgy. Cainglet, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay and presently residing at Purok 33, Agro Compound, Brgy. Bucana, Davao City. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape by sexual intercourse in relation to RA 7610, docketed under Criminal Case number i-6676, signed by Hon. Vicente S Dela Plaza, presiding judge, branch 36, 9th Judicial Region, Regional Trial Court, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay dated August 08, 2017 with no bail bond recommended. He is currently under the custody of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Field Unit prior turned over to Kabasalan MPS.
Fire Incident
A fire incident transpired at incident transpired at Magsaysay St., Bliss, Culo, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur at 9:20 AM of March 29, 2021 wherein an abandoned/uninhabited house of the late Ms. Narcisa Gilbolingo Olita was engulfed. The fire-out was declared at 9:42 AM of same date with estimated damages amounting to P200,000.00 as reported by FO1 Chrislie Far Gonzales of the Bureau of Fire Protection. The cause of fire is still to be determined.
Stabbing Incident
A stabbing incident transpired at Purok 4, Brgy. Guitalos, Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur at about 3:00 PM of March 29, 2021. The victim was identified as Emiliano Andamay, 38 years old, farmer and a resident of Purok 4, Brgy. Guitalos, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur and suspect was identified as Jerry Boy Mandao Suminog aka “Diego”, 24 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Poblacion B, Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur Investigation disclosed that at about 8:00 AM of March 29, 2021, the victim was standing at the stairs of his house when he was suddenly stabbed by the suspect. As a result, victim sustained one (1) stabbed wound on his throat that resulted to his instantaneous death. The cadaver was turned over to his family. Allegedly, the motive of the incident was a revenge on a stabbing incident that happened last March 28, 2021 at about 12:30 AM. The suspect was brought to Midsalip Municipal Police Station for booking procedure and proper documentation.
Suicide Incident
A suicide incident transpired at Purok Hayahai, Brgy. Man-ilan, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur at about 05:00 PM of March 29, 2021. The victim was identified as Holianito Montilla Pepito, 50 years old, male, single, farmer, Filipino and a resident of Purok Hayahai, Brgy. Man-ilan, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur. Investigation disclosed that at around 6:00 AM of March 29, 2021, Egleserio Montilla Pepito (elder brother of the victim) and Jesie Kusmod Bunya (brother in-law of the victim) discovered Holianito hanging on the teak tree outside of his residence. Further, prior to the incident the victim said to his brother and brother-in-law that he will commit suicide if the barangay summon him involving in an alleged mauling incident and to pay for the medication expenses. Examination conducted by Dr. Charity N. Vega, Municipal Health Officer that strangulation is the cause of his death.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Buug
Police personnel of Zamboanga Sibugay 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company together with elements of Malangas Municipal Police Station (MPS), Buug Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Division 9, Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office – Intel Branch, 44th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army and 903rd Maneuver Company conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Sitio Linuc, Brgy. Pamintayan, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 4:30 PM of March 29, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Maninting Manguda Abdurajak, 44 years old, male, married, and a resident of Purok 7, Sitio Barurao, Barangay Pamintayan, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder with Criminal Case no.4595, dated August 5, 2010, issued by Hon. Reubin L. Maraon, Executive Judge of RTC, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 24, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, with no bail recommended. He was brought to Malangas MPS for proper documentation and temporary detention.
Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Putik
Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 conducted buy-bust operation at Perez Drive, Brgy. Putik, Zamboanga City at 12:40 AM of March 30, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Ronald Zabala Lazo, 50 years old, male married, college graduate, jobless and a resident of the said place. Confiscated during the operation were two (2) sachets of suspected Shabu with estimated value of ₱ 6,936.00 weighing 1.02 grams and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All confiscated items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
