Shooting Incident
Shooting incident transpired at Estrada Street, Barangay Tetuan Zamboanga City at about 6:00 PM of February 18, 2021 wherein the victim was identified as Loisabelle Agustin Lee, 48 years old, married, financial manager of Pepsi Cola and a resident of the said place. Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident; victim was driving on her way home from work on board a Toyota Rush SUV bearing plate No. NDK 6381. Upon reaching the inner alley of the place of incident, the gunman was casually walking towards the victim’s car and suddenly pulled an unknown type firearm and shot the victim hitting on her chest. The suspect embarked on his getaway motorcycle and fled towards to the direction of Tetuan Central School, while victim was rushed to Zamboanga Doctors Hospital by her relatives but she was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. Recovered from the crime scene particularly at the driver’s seat was one (1) slug from unknown type of firearm. A dash camera from the vehicle of the victim was requested for verification and examination of the recorded incident and will be referred to PNP Anti-Cyber Crime Office 9 for proper disposition. Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 are still conducting in-depth investigation to identify the suspect and the motive of the incident.
Road Crash Accident
Road crash accident transpired along the national highway of Purok Santan, Barangay Lower Dimaya, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at 9:18 AM of February 18, 2021. Investigation disclosed that a grey Nissan Van bearing plate number GAB 7320, driven by Rolando Ondoy Pia, 38 years old, male, married, driver by profession, and a resident of Barangay Mabuhay, Tabina, Zamboanga del Sur was traversing along the national highway. Upon reaching the place of incident, a single motorcycle driven by Jeorge Quirante Dehamo from the opposite direction went on a zigzag motion which cause the back rider, Rodney Quage Dehamo to fall onto the road. Rodney was accidentally bumped by the Nissan van. After the incident, victim was immediately rushed to Chavez Medical Clinic but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician. The driver Rolando Ondoy Pia is now under the custody of Dinas Municipal Police Station for filing of appropriate charges
₱569,000.00 Worth of Shabu Seized from Five Drug Suspects in Zamboanga City
A total of ₱ 569,000.00 worth of Shabu were seized from five drug suspects in Zamboanga City in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by different police stations under Zamboanga City Police Office on February 18, 2021.
Robertino Aguilar Lim, 37 years old, male, married, freelancer, vocational course graduate was arrested by police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 in a drug buy-bust operation at Governor Ramos, Barangay Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City at about 4:00 AM of February 18, 2021. Confiscated during the operation were eight (8) sachets of suspected Shabu with estimated market value of ₱ 5,000.00 weighing 0.73 grams, one coin purse and two pieces of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the temporary custody of the said police station for proper disposition.
Muiz Zadeen Wata Harain, 32 years old, male, married, college level, unemployed, and a resident of Barangay Sta. Catalina, Zamboanga City was arrested by police operatives from Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in a drug buy-bust operation at Doña Maria, Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City at 8:20 PM of february 18, 2021. Confiscated during the operation were two (2) sachets of suspected shabu with estimated value of ₱ 200,000.00 weighing 29.41 grams and ₱ 2,000.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of the said police station for proper disposition.
Jermicko Firmeza Siason, 30 year old, male, married, college level, unemployed, under probation, Gregg Jalon Yap Aizon Francisco, 36 years old, male, single, college level, utility worker and Rod Daniel Pajulas Chiong, 27 years old, male, single, college level, unemployed, under probation were arrested by police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City at 10:45 PM of February 18, 2021. Confiscated during the operation were five (5) sachets of suspected Shabu with estimated value of ₱ 364,000, weighing 53.52 grams and ₱ 500.00 bill as marked money. They are now under the temporary custody of the said police station for proper disposition.
Robbery Suspect Arrested in Alicia
Police operatives of Alicia Municipal Police Station together with elements of Imelda Municipal Police Station, 44th Infantry Battalion and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted joint law enforcement through service of warrant of arrest at Purok 3, Barangay Concepcion, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 5:00 PM of February 18, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Reynold Cuajotor Coronel, 43 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Concepcion, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Robbery docketed under Criminal Case No. im-21-2197 issued by Hon. Jeric S Kagaoan, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 31, Imelda Zamboanga Sibugay dated February 8, 2021 with ₱ 100,000.00 bail bond recommended. He is now under the temporary custody of Alicia Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Top 7 Most Wanted Person of Salug, Arrested
Police personnel of Salug Municipal Police Station together with personnel from 2nd Zamboanga Del Norte Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted joint law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Tapalan, Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte at 9:40 PM of February 18, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jessie Cadial Mendoza, 22 years old, listed as Top 7 Most Wanted Person of Salug, fisherman and a resident of Barangay Tapalan, Salug, Zamboanga del Norte. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Rape docketed under Criminal Case No. l-003904, issued by Hon. Anthony D Isaw (Presiding Judge) of RTC Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte, dated February 13, 2020 with no bail recommended. He is now under the temporary custody of the said police station for proper disposition.
Rape Suspect Arrested in Margosatubig
Police personnel of Bayog Municipal Police Station together with personnel of Margosatubig Municipal Police Station conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Barangay Higad, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur at about 10:00 PM of February 18, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Tony Boy Malintan Olandis, 31 years old, married, farmer and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Pulangbato, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Rape under Article 266-A (1) in relation to Art. 266-B of the Revised Penal Code, docketed under Criminal Cases Nos. 15399-2K21 and 15400-2K21, issued by Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region, Regional Trial Court ,Branch 22, Pagadian City dated January 21, 2021 with no bail bond recommended. He is now under the custody of Bayog Municipal Police Station prior turn over to the court.
