Police Officer Allegedly Involved in Illegal Drugs, Arrested in Vitali
PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 served the warrant of arrest against PCpl Junhavier Alam Ahmadul, 42 years old, male, married, college graduate, an active PNP member and presently assigned at Zamboanga City Police Station 1 at 2:45 PM of August 29, 2021. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Sec. 92 (RA 9165) under criminal case no. 48799 issued by Hon. Shene Chiong Cañete, Branch 35, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Zamboanga City dated August 27, 2021 with recommended bail bond of Php 200,000.00. He is presently under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 prior turn over to the concerned court.
Man Dead in Motor Vehicle Traffic Accident in Tungawan
A vehicular accident transpired at Purok Kasalamatan, Barangay Taglibas, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 9:25 AM of August 29, 2021 involving a blue Yamaha Sniper 155 driven by Jesus Lad O Generoso, 31 years old, male, married, and a resident of Simbahan Poblacion, Panutaran, Sulu and a blue Hyundai Porter Cargo Truck, and driven by Rodney Roy A. Arroz, 22 years old, male, single, and resident of Barangay Sanito, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, and accompanied by Mr. Victor Terminez Cayabyab Jr., a resident of the same place. Investigation revealed that prior to the incident, both vehicles were travelling in opposite direction, upon reaching the place of incident, the motorcycle encroached to the opposite lane and was accidentally bumped by the incoming cargo truck, as a result, driver of motorcycle sustained injuries and was rushed to RT Lim family hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician Dr. Abdul Raid Ismael, while the driver of vehicle was unharmed. Both vehicled involved were brought to Tungawan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
