Davao City – Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 director PBGen. Filmore Escobal commends the Tri-Media Organization for Peace and Alliance (TROPA) Mindanao for its efforts in supporting the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Escobal, during the year-end Media Forum with the members of TROPA held at the Baganihan Hall in PRO 11 in Catitipan last December 17, said he highly compliments the commitment of the media group which primarily focuses on helping the government annihilate communist groups.
“I admire their commitment to their advocacy, TROPA is a media group that is anti-communist, at isa ito sa nagpapalakas ng partnership nila with the PNP,” the general said.
Escobal boldly said that he is confident everytime TROPA is around as they actively provide the police a platform to send their message to the public.
“While we Police fights the visible war, they are involve in fighting invisible enemies like COVID and the ideology of the communist group which is very deadly,” he said.
He also expressed his admiration to the members of TROPA from various media outfits for the commitment to the organization.
“(Always remember na) Nandito kami PNP, we are fighting with you side by side,” Escobal said.
“We appreciate your efforts and support, maraming salamat sa inyo,” the regional director ended.
TROPA Mindanao president Manny Autida, meanwhile, thanked the regional director for recognizing the genuine efforts of the organization.
Autida also lauded Escobal for steering PRO 11 in the right direction and for the office’s accomplishments in 2020 amid the pandemic.
