Phil Chamber Of Commerce Includes City Government Of Panabo In The Final List Of Most Business Friendly City Award

DAVAO CITY –  Another triumphant moment for the City Government of Panabo as the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PCCI) recognized the LGU as a Finalist to become this year’s Most Business Friendly City on October 03, 2019 at the PCCI Headquarters, McKinley Town Center, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Together with the President of the Panabo City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr Reynaldo T. Gulane, CPA, and LGU employees, City Mayor Jose E. Relampagos led the presentation of the city’s best practices, initiatives, and policies for services to existing and new businesses. The City Mayor also managed to answer the series of questions raised by a panel of judges during the second judging.

Eventually, the City Mayor received a Plaque of Recognition from the PCCI officials.

According to Dr. Gulane on his recent Facebook post, “Hope that this level of accomplishment will continue to serve as an inspiration and motivation to all the City Officials and (department heads and employees) to strive more, to be faithful with their duties to truly serve, improve and stay relevant and responsive to the needs not only of the business sector but to all panaboans.”

Moreover, the City Government of Panabo boasts of its implementation of the Ease-of-Doing Business, Investment and Incentives Ordinance, the growing enterprises, and the government’s partnership with the private companies.

This is the second consecutive year that the City Government placed as Finalist of the prestigious award.
