AT least a million doses of Sinovac vaccine were scheduled to arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) from Beijing at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 5.
Philippine Airlines A330 will transport the government-purchased shipment, according to PAL spokesman Cielo Villaluna.
“PAL flight PR359 loaded with the Sinovac vaccines left Beijing Daxing International Airport at 2:45 p.m and is estimated to touch down the Naia at 7:02 p.m.,” Villaluna said.
She added the vaccines would be unloaded on the Naia Terminal 1, Bay 49.
The Beijing-Manila vaccine flight team is manned by Chief Pilot Capt. Jerry Perlada, First Officer Vicente Uy Jr., First Officer Neil Alvin Pagsuguiron and Interpreter Stephanie Co-Obiles.
