The Zamboanga City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) maintains the operation of its Emergency Operations Center (EOC), as Zamboanga City continues to be under “blue alert” in line with the observance of the Holiday season.
BLUE alert status is the early stage of emergency situation when heightened monitoring, coordination and reporting are done with the support and cooperation of the different barangay disaster risk reduction and management committees (BDRRMCs).
The declaration of blue alert status started December 17, 2024 and is based on a memorandum circular from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
