Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur – Arrest of one individual on Anti-Illegal Drugs (Buy-Bust) Operation at around 7:22 in the evening of July 3, 2024 at Purok Bougainvilla, Barangay San Pedro, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.
Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) of Pagadian City Police Station together with the personnel of 1st ZSPMFC conducted a joint illegal drugs buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of one male, 25 years old and a resident of Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City.
Confiscated during the buy-bust operation were the following;
a) One (1) piece of small size heat-sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected of methamphetamine hydrochloride “shabu”, as buy-bust evidence.
b) two (2) pieces of small size heat-sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected of methamphetamine hydrochloride “shabu”, as seized evidence.
c) One (1) unit Infinix android cellular phone.
d) One (1) piece One thousand Peso Bill (Php 1,000.00) as marked money.
The suspect was brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center subject for medical/physical examination while the confiscated/seized drug evidences were turned-over to PDEA Chemistry Laboratory situated at Regional Center, Barangay Balintawak, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for quantitative and qualitative examination as well as the suspect which is subject for drug testing examination.
The suspect was further brought to Pagadian CPS temporarily held under protective custody while an inquest case for Violation of R.A. No. 9165 as amended by R.A. No. 10640 otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” is being prepared.
