Mayor Beng Climaco Greets Children Visiting The Fort Pilar Shrine Together With Their Parents For The First Time

FIRST SUNDAY OUT: Mayor Beng Climaco greets children visiting the Fort Pilar Shrine together with their parents for the first time Sunday, one year and four months after they were restricted outdoors due to the public health emergency.
Children were also seen at the Butterfly Garden and R. T Lim Boulevard, as captured in photos.
Pursuant to EO 667-2021, children ages 5 to 11 years old are allowed in outdoor areas on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) provided they are supervised by adult/s and compliant with the minimum health standards. The same EO allows children 12-17 years old to go outdoor areas Monday to Sunday, provided they too are supervised by adult/s and compliant with the minimum health standards. The order took effect July 12.
Under the EO, outdoor areas/ activities are limited to parks (Pasonanca, Abong-abong, etc.), playgrounds, beaches and resorts, biking and hiking trails, outdoor tourist sites and attractions and outdoor non-contact sports courts and venues.
