PLAYERS momentarily lose their cool during the game.

KCS Computer Specialist-Mandaue City crushed the Tabogon Voyagers, 86-53, at the resumption of the Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup on Friday at the Civic Center in Alcantara, Cebu.

Mandaue City snatched its second win in two games in the tournament that was rocked by controversy early this week that resulted to the banning of Siquijor and slapping of suspensions and fines to several ARQ Builders Lapu-Lapu City players and coaches.

Mandaue City was dominating all game long, waxing hot on offense while crippling Tabogon with its defense to post leads of 22-13, 45-28 and 61-42 in each of the first three quarters.

The Mike Reyes-coached squad limited their opponents to a horrible 29-percent shooting while forcing 20 turnovers they translated to 25 points.

Dyll Roncal had his best game as a pro and led Mandaue City with 15 points that went with seven rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Roncal, coming off a collegiate stint with the Southwestern University-Phinma Cobras, said he is transitioning well to the pro game with the help of Reyes and his older teammates.

“I just am focused on becoming more mature in this league and always being receptive to advise from our coaches, the kuyas of the team and of course, my parents,” said the 6-foot-2 Roncal.

Crafty point guard Joseph Nalos compiled 14 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block for Mandaue City.

Gileant Delator and Red Cachuela chipped in 10 points apiece with Cachuela adding six rebounds, two steals and one block.

Arvie Bringas was the lone player to finish in double figures with 12 points for the Voyagers who dropped to 1-2 won-lost.
