Police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at Varela Street, Brgy. Zone I, Zamboanga City at about 1:30 PM of November 11, 2020. The operation resulted in the arrest of Romulo Bugtong Manalim, 58 years old, male, single, and a resident of Mas Compound, Brgy. Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the Crime of Rape defined and penalized under RA 8353, docketed under Criminal Case No. 45237 and for Violation of Section 5 (a) Art. II of RA 7610, docketed under Criminal Case Number 45238 signed and issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Peter V. Eisma, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 15, Zamboanga City, dated July 28, 2020 with no recommended bail bond for Criminal Case No. 45237, while ₱ 200,000.00 for Criminal Case No. 45238.
