    (From Dr. Leonard Abraham)

We have 2 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases. This is quite alarming since our municipality is on the verge of declaring community transmission and yet most of our constituents are not anymore following minimum public health standards.

    • Case #27

    – ROF from Kuwait

-Tested POSITIVE upon arrival in the Philippines and immediately advised for isolation for 10 days

    – Arrived in Barangay Tinago however patient had persistence of cough and colds thus advised for strict home quarantine for 7 days

    – Patient was re-swabbed today awaiting for result

    • Case #28

    – With known exposure to a confirmed positive case in Malimono District Hospital

    – Currently asymptomatic

    – Ongoing contact tracing and close contacts were advised to undergo 14-day quarantine period.

Please do avoid 3 C’s to effectively prevent COVID-19.

    • CONTACT with infected persons
    • CLOSED (poorly ventilated spaces)
    • CROWDED places ( mass gatherings e.g. Fiesta Celebration)
