LGU-Dipolog and DepEd conducts health education summit

The local government of Dipolog through the City Health Office (CHO) together with DepEd-Dipolog, Population Commission (POPCOM), Zuellig Family Foundation and other stakeholders, conducted the STI-HIV/AIDS, Teen Pregnancy, Mental Health and Adolescent Reproductive Health Education Summit in various secondary schools in the city.

The goal of this event is to educate and enlighten growing kids about their mental and health issues and other related challenges.

June 2 this year, the culmination of this well-known activity was held at Zamboanga del Norte National High School (ZNHHS)-Turno Campus attended by elected Grade 10 students.

During the seminar program, councilor Marilou Y. Calibo, Chairperson on the Committee on Education and Culture and representative of Mayor Darel Dexter T. Uy, encourage students to really follow the good path of life because the government, particularly the local government of Dipolog and the DepEd, cares for the better tomorrow of all students.

While City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ma. Liza Tabilon also expressed a similar message to the children.
