The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Cagayan de Oro was recently recognized and presented with a plaque of appreciation for its exceptional support and unwavering guidance during the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Cagayan de Oro Water District. The ceremony took place yesterday, August 4, and the City Information Officer, Ms Ivy Guantero representing Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy, graciously accepted the plaque. City Legal Officer Atty Kenneth Tamala was also present during the memorable event.
The LGU of Cagayan de Oro has been an instrumental partner of the Cagayan de Oro Water District, providing steadfast support and invaluable guidance throughout the water district’s five decades of service. Their collaborative efforts have greatly contributed to the development, growth, and success of the water district, ensuring the provision of clean and reliable water supply to the residents of Cagayan de Oro.
