Surigao del Norte (SDN) — Police Provincial Office officially started the celebration of this year’s 26th Police Community Relations Month during Monday Flag Raising with the theme “Pulisya at Pamayanan, BARANGAYanihan sa Hamon ng pandemya at Laban sa Krimen”, held at SDNPPO Gymnasium , July 5, 2021.
The celebration was spearheaded by Provincial Director (PD) Police Colonel Noel C. Espinoza together with Police Community Affairs Development Unit headed by Police Major Tessiel R. Moleta, Chief PCAD, Provincial Staff, PCOs, PNCOs and NUPs.
The activity highlights the message of the Guest of Honor and Speaker Mr. Allan B. Japor, Governor, Region 3, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Philippines Eagles and the formal declaration of the opening of the 26th PCR Month followed by giving of Certificates of Appreciation to the partners-stakeholders that made our BARANGAYanihan activities sustainable.
Series of activities also were conducted in the celebration such as; Holy Eucharistic Mass, Blood Donation in coordination with Caraga Blood Bank Surigao, BARANGAYanihan-Hinabang Para sa Katawhan with Mamanwas-Indigenous People (IP), Feeding activity, Distribution of toys and Libreng Gupit with the Mamanwa children from Sitio Tagbasingan, Brgy Mat-I, Surigao City.
“I appreciate the constant support of our stakeholders and commitment to the PNP organization. We will continue to balance and bridge the gap between the community and the police most especially in this time of pandemic,” PD Espinoza said.
