The Commission on Elections COMELEC Bicol in celebration of National Voter’s Day today featured the reopening of voter registration for 2025 national and local elections.
Starting today, February 12, 2024, application for registration, transfer, reactivation, change of name/correction of entries, and inclusion/reinstatement can be filed.
Qualified voters from other province or region in the country may also register thru the Register Anywhere Program at SM City Legazpi.

Aniya, this year Comelec has made their public services easier and closer. Aside from their offices, they will also go to schools, barangays and government offices.
According to Comelec Albay Provincial Election Officer Atty. Maria Aurea Bo-Bunao, the Special Satellite and Register Anywhere Program (SSARAP) in Bicol University headed by Comelec Chair George Garcia this February 19-20. Its target is to register 30,000 voters.
Getting a voter’s certificate that can be used as an ID within one year from the date of its issue is now free.
