Despite it being among the farthest municipalities in the province, the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, under Governor Luigi Villafuerte, always ensures that the people of Caramoan equally receive the projects and programs of the province. On July 25 and August 3, 2024, the Provincial Health Office brought its Medical Caravan to the Caramoan Municipal Hospital, Tawog, Caramoan.
An all-out medical caravan was conducted with the provinces’ Laboratory Diagnostic Bus, Eye Clinic on Wheels, Dental Clinic on Wheels, and Women’s Wellness on Wheels.
Simultaneous to the caravan, Caramoan’s pregnant women also enjoyed the Serbisyong Ka Fuerte Handog Kay Nanay Program held at Partido State University Caramoan.
Over a hundred residents and pregnant women of Caramoan were served and were able to avail of the free medical services including medical checkup, prenatal checkup, blood chemistry, urinalysis, CBC test, X-ray, ultrasound, dental consultation, tooth extraction, eye exam, and vision test.
