The City Government of Naga is pleased to share that the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) has officially acknowledged the City’s submission of the 2025 Local Cultural Inventory (LCI) and has tagged it as compliant following their initial assessment.
This compliance fulfills the requirements under Section 14, Article V of Republic Act No. 11961, which amended the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009, strengthening the protection and documentation of the country’s cultural heritage.
We are currently awaiting the Certificate of Compliance (COC) from the NCCA, which will be released in their upcoming quarterly issuance.
This milestone reflects the City’s continued commitment to preserving, documenting, and promoting Naga’s rich cultural heritage for present and future generations.
