Mayor Nelson Legacion led the 126th Independence Day celebration on June 12, 2024 at Plaza Quince Martires, Naga City.
With the theme: ‘Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan,” a flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremony was conducted attended by the Mayor, Vice Mayor Cecilia “Nene” de Asis, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, 3rd District Congressman Gabriel Bordado, Jr., City Youth Officials, City Hall Department Heads and employees.
Also present were officials and representatives from DepEd-Naga, uniformed personnel from the PNP, BFP, PSO, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Philippines, National Historical Commission, public and private organizations and institutions in the city.
