DILG 5, through its Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division’s (LGMED) Awards and Recognition Section (ARS), conducts its Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) Table Assessment today, May 10, 2023, at the LGRRC Library.
The Department, as chair of the Regional Awards Committee (RAC), convenes members and representatives from the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Philippine National Police (PNP), Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB), and Gayon, Inc. (a civil society organization) to facilitate the assessment of qualifiers that made it to Bicol’s official entries this year.
The LTIA is an annual search that recognizes outstanding lupong tagapamayapa who demonstrate the ability to judiciously and expeditiously resolve cases referred to them. This was conceptualized and implemented in 1982 and has been elevated to a Presidential Award under EO No. 394 s. 1997.
