Under the directive of Land Transportation Office (LTO) Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, and in observance of Road Safety Month, Regional Offices through its Regional Law Enforcement Section, conducted the “Katropa-Kasangga” Program yesterday, May 10, 2024, recognizing the efforts and support of our deputized partners in the enforcement of land transportation laws, rules, and regulations.
Distinguished road safety partners from various regions, including LTO Region IV-A, LTO Region IV-B, LTO Region 5, and LTO Region VIII, among others, were duly acknowledged during the program.
The awards presented includes Apprehending Officer with the Highest Number of Apprehensions for Reckless Driving/Speeding, Seatbelt Violations, Overloading, and the recognition of partner agencies for their contributions as effective Road Safety partners.
This endeavor not only acknowledges their contributions but also serves as a reminder that road safety is a shared responsibility, uniting us all in the pursuit of safer journeys for every traveler.
