Iriga: LTO Bicol continues Roadside and Terminal Inspections in preparation for upcoming school year

In line with the Department of Transportation and the Land Transportation Office’s Oplan: Balik Eskwela 2024, LTO Bicol is actively engaged in roadside and terminal inspections to ensure the roadworthiness of motor vehicles today, July 28, 2024.

π‹π“πŽ 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐧 πƒπ’π¬π­π«π’πœπ­ 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐒𝐜𝐞 carried out a roadside inspection in front of Aemillianum College Incorporated along Rizal Street, Piot, Sorsogon City.

Concurrently, π‹π“πŽ 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩π₯𝐨𝐧𝐚 πƒπ’π¬π­π«π’πœπ­ 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐒𝐜𝐞 conducted an inspection of public utility vehicles28 (PUVs) at the Pasacao CBD Terminal in Pasacao, Camarines Sur, and provided a brief orientation for PUV operators and drivers.

In Juban, Sorsogon, the π‹π“πŽ 𝐈𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐒𝐧 πƒπ’π¬π­π«π’πœπ­ 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐒𝐜𝐞 Enforcement team performed a roadside inspection and distributed flyers, inspecting 5 jeepneys and 10 tricycles, with a total of 15 vehicles passing the inspection.

Meanwhile, π‹π“πŽ π‘πšπ πšπ² πƒπ’π¬π­π«π’πœπ­ 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐒𝐜𝐞 executed a roadside inspection, provided motorist assistance, and conducted enforcement operations along Andaya Highway, Banga Caves, Ragay, Camarines Sur. They inspected 34 motor vehicles, distributed road safety flyers, and issued necessary tickets to violators.

These activities are part of a broader initiative to ensure the safety of students and the general public as the new school year approaches.
