The City Government of Iriga, led by Mayor Rex C. Oliva, welcomed the newly designated Assistant Chief of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Iriga, Mr. Czar Byron S. Ceas, during a courtesy call held at the City Mayorβs Office. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).
The visit served as an opportunity to establish stronger collaboration between LTO Iriga and CGO Iriga in advancing road safety as a key pillar of disaster resilience. Mayor Rex expressed the city’s full support for joint initiatives aimed at minimizing road accidents, protecting commuters, and promoting a culture of responsible road use among IrigueΓ±os.
The courtesy call also opened avenues for future programs and capacity-building efforts in partnership with CDRRMO Iriga, aligned with the road safety and public welfare directives of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) under Sec. Vivencio “Vince” B. Dizon, LTO Asst. Sec. Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, and the leadership of LTO Region V, headed by Regional Dir. Allan Castillejos and Asst. Regional Dir. Vincent Nato.
As Iriga City continues to prioritize safety, mobility, and inter-agency coordination, this renewed partnership with LTO Iriga marks a significant step toward safer roads and more resilient communities.
